qbrobotics® is an Italian Company founded in 2011 as a spin-off of the University of Pisa and the Italian Institute of Technology that produce innovative actuators, devices and systems for soft robotics as robotic hands, handles, delta robots and Variable Stiffness Actuators. These products implement the natural principles of motion control, the same principle behind the muscular system of animals, in order to create robots that are smooth and safe when interacting with humans.
qbrobotics® is based in the Technological Complex of Pisa where in a 400m² structure, the original founders together with a group of 25 collaborators implement all stages of production starting from research and concluding with the realization of hardware, passing through laboratory testing and software programming.
In order to provide top quality products, qbrobotics® internalized all the production process and created its own durability and performance testing laboratory, the qblab, following the highest standards requested from the European certifications.
Our products find application in a wide range of industrial fields. They are also currently being used in research institutes in the medical and prosthetic sectors as well as university robotics centers, from service robots for home and hobbyists to industrial automation and collaborative robots.
Since its inception qbrobotics® has grown to successfully consolidate its position in the market with a steady growth and worldwide partnership expansion in the EU, US, Japan, Korea, China, ASEAN, and South America.
